Choosing Your Door

ZESCO offers kitchen swing doors from Eliason Corporation – a premier manufacturer of custom, commercial kitchen swing doors in styles, construction materials, and functions that fit most budgets. Check out all our options, or narrow selection down by construction and style in the list below. First, however, let our guide offer you a word on choosing the right material and finish.

Inside Material

  • Economy Doors
are made from a 1/16″ thick plate of aluminum or stainless steel and used in casual diners and bars as a visual separation between the kitchen and dining areas. Avoid denting these in high traffic areas where carts, bussers or negative pressure ventilation impact them frequently.
  • Solid Core Swing Doors
are made from 3/4″ thick moisture-resistant composite wood core. When surrounded by your choice of aluminum, stainless steel, or laminated finish the finished product is a 1″ thick, heavy-duty kitchen swing door perfect for high-traffic restaurants ranging from fast casual to fine dining.
  • Heavy-Duty ABS Polymer Doors
are the most durable solution. Made with a 5/8″ honeycomb polymer core finished and high-impact ABS thermoplastic, these doors are both lightweight and resist most dings and dents. Textured surfaces hide scratches and eliminate the sound of clashing metal when carts are pushed through the doorway. Available in twenty colors from muted grey and beige to bright forest green, red, or royal blue hues these doors fit perfectly with your decor.

Outside Finish

  • Stainless Steel
doors are a subtle, classic look that never goes out of style. Highly polished stainless-steel doors can make any environment look clean and sophisticated.
  • Aluminum
doors are lightweight and economical while retaining that traditional-look finish.
  • High-Pressure Laminate
doors offer more personality with your choice of color or woodgrain pattern applied directly to door material using a high-pressure method that creates a long-lasting bond. On solid core models, the door panel is also capped with 18-gauge stainless steel to provide steel-like durability at a lower cost. These doors can be customized to complement your dining room in 30 laminate choices to fit casual, fine dining, or institutional designs.
  • ABS Polymer
doors offer a wide selection of colors baked right into the door material in numerous solid colors, but wood-grained patterns are not possible.
